Ephesians 5,9

Ephesians 5,9Amen to that 🙂

dSLR camera, Salvation

It’s been a while…I was so busy and I just wasn’t able to write something. I quickly want to share something with you.

I went into a shop, I trusted the seller and bought a camera. I am a proud owner of a new dSLR camera. It was super expensive and I know that not everybody would like to spend that amount of money „only“ for a camera. I just love taking pictures. If your passion is to capture moments and beauty forever and share it with others, you will enjoy(exagerating a bit :)) to exchange the money you have for a good camera.

Talking about salvation…we kind of exchange something as well. We give our lives, and we receive a “high quality insurance”  – even after death, because I believe in what God said. I know that we live and will see the creator of the world and the universe. For this we don’t need to go to a shop. We go to church, we trust God’s word (the Bible) and salvation is waiting for us. Well I think it is more a gift than an exchange, to those who believe and to those who live for Jesus.

But what exactly do we exchange?

Well in my case, it is my entire life. I give up the old habbits, the old me and I am receptive to changes and I want to be transformed to become the woman God wants me to be. I am surely not perfect. I have my issues but I trust God, that He will guide me on my journey in becoming more like Him.

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. – Galatians 2:20

And he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised. – Colossians 3:17

I gave it to Him, so now He lives in me. The life I live shall glorify Him. You know, He is the One who gave us everything. Our lives which we live here on earth is all we can give back to Him. For some this might sound odd, because usually people don’t like to lose things. We don’t like changes. We want to stay who we are. The consequence is that there will be no space for Him.

Therefore, we people sometimes need a bit of help to come to this point of letting go. I call it brokenness.

If you drop your expensive camera and it gets broken…What do you do next? Normally, you don’t fix it yourself. We go back where we bought the camera and ask for help. They can fix it, because they know how to do it.

So if you are in a situation, where you feel that you have lost your salvation, feel alone, afraid, abandon or condemned. Please, don’t distance yourself from Him and you also don’t need to show to God how strong you are. Show Him your brokenness. Shout out His name. Tell Him that you need Him now. He will fix it. He will be your comforter. Open your heart, give your life to Him, even if you have done it already. Do it again, surrender again.

Believe me, Jesus is ready to repair what is broken and He wants you to receive and keep the greatest gift of all. Whether you enjoy your life or not – you will enjoy it much, much more if you live it for Him and with Him. Your life will be a life full of love, peace, joy and hope with the One who knew you before you were born. The love He has for you is unimaginable strong. He died for you because you are precious to Him. Never forget that.

For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s. For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living. – Romans 14:7-9

Arise, shine and be One

Arise, shine and be One

“For I live only to see your face, so shine on me!” – This sentence is from the awesome song called ‘Light of Your face’ from Jesus Culture.

We are on this earth not to sit down, stay in our comfort zone and live passive. We need to stand up. Stand up for the things we believe in. We need to be confident of who we are. Brothers and sisters – Arise!

The glory of God should not fade in our lives. We need to stay close to Him and the source of light and life will shine upon us continuously. Don’t forget Him, don’t hide from Him. Or else, you will miss something big! Living in light means we are able to see what God has planned for us. Living in light not only shows us the way, but it helps us to walk safely to reach our destination. In addition, we reflect the light we receive and guide others through that. Wow, God has given us a big responsibility. We are living testimonies for the people around us. Let us shine!

Additionally, being One is the consequence for us if we stay and live in light. You can’t be One with somebody, you hardly spend time with. Light clarifies and we will start to understand God step-by-step, more and more. This understanding leads us to crave for Him, Jesus Christ. We want Him to be in our hearts. If Jesus is the King of our hearts, we will start to love one another like He loved us. We are One body. The bride of Christ, who is eagerly waiting to be with the groom forever.
Let’s crave for the favor of God’s unfading glory to shine upon us.
Let’s arise, shine and be One!

Isaiah 60:1 – Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you.

John 14:1-3; Ephesians 5:25-27

No heart disease

Proverbs 4:23 – Above everything else guard your heart, because from it flow the springs of life.

We have a physical heart and a moral  heart. In both cases we need to take care of our heart.

A heart attack or a bad moral action doesn’t suddenly come out of nowhere. As everything in life, it is an ongoing process. It depends on how you live your life. Living unhealthy, without going to the doctor for a checkup might sooner or later end up in a cardiac arrest. Hatred, evil thoughts, no renewing of the mind can sooner or later end up in an action you probably regret.  And as the physical health depends on the healthy action of the heart, so the moral health depends on the state in which your heart is preserved. The heart is so well known to God the searcher of it. Nothing can be hidden from Him and everything is visible to Him.

Why the heart?
If your heart is right,  so will your actions be. The heart is the source of whatever affects life and character.
We need to take care of our heart, because so much depends upon it.

Remember, God was and will never be interested who among His creation has the most beautiful eyes or who wears the best clothes or who has the best voice. All what matters to Him is the heart. He is searching for a pure, loyal heart which genuinely loves Him. An undivided heart that seeks His presence, a heart that wants to serve Him and His people.
Please, let us never forget how import the heart is for the Lord. Therefore, we really need to keep our heart safe, by prayer, reading and hearing His Word and of course asking for the grace and Spirit of God to keep, sanctify and preserve it.

Additional verses:
Luke 6:45 – A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

Proverbs 23:19 – Listen, my son, and be wise, and set your heart on the right path:

Today, let us check our hearts and pray to God.

My heart belongs to Jesus :)

My heart belongs to Jesus :)

I love taking pictures, I love processing pictures and above all I love Jesus Christ. ❤
My heart belongs to Jesus. Amen.

Colossians 1:27 – To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

This is one of my favorite verses. Christ is in you, the hope of glory. As christians we trust the word of God and live by faith. Remember death has no power anymore, because Christ is in you. You belong to Him. Enjoy the day knowing that Christ is in you the hope of glory. No one can take this away from you. Live, love and forgive as Jesus did and look forward seeing Him one day. God bless you!
